What this is

ABC Tires & Auto Repair, 3139 E Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89104, asks some customers for a Google review by text message. We only text you if you say yes at the counter. This page explains exactly how you agree and what you receive.

How you agree, at the counter

Step 1. When you come in, our staff at the service counter invite you to check in on the front office computer, on our check-in page (Check in), and you type in your own name and mobile number yourself.

Step 2. The check-in form has a separate, unchecked box for each kind of message: service texts (which include one request to review your visit), promotional texts, and promotional emails. You check a box only if you want those messages; your choice is recorded with the date and time, together with the exact wording you saw.

Step 3. If you checked the service-texts box, you receive one text from ABC Tires & Auto Repair with the review link after your visit. Every text ends with "Reply STOP to opt out."

If you leave every box empty, nothing changes: you are not texted, and your service is exactly the same. Checking a box is optional and is not a condition of any purchase or service.

What the check-in form asks you

The service-texts box reads, word for word:

"Text me about my service: updates on my vehicle, when it’s ready, service reminders, and one request to review my visit. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

Example of the text

"Hi Maria, thank you for choosing ABC Tires & Auto Repair! If you have a moment, a quick Google review helps other people find us: [review link] Reply STOP to opt out."

Frequency, costs, STOP and HELP

Message frequency: one review request per visit, at most one per 90 days. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

Reply STOP at any time and you get no more texts from this number. Reply HELP and we answer with the shop's phone number. You can also call the shop at (702) 432-6371. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your privacy

Mobile information and SMS opt-in data are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
